	Blue Wave Summer Baseball Camps

All –

There are still some spots available in the Blue Wave Baseball camps for Darien kids this summer. There are three different camp programs: The first is a Sandlot Camp for Little League kids entering grades 1 – 3. Second is an Advanced Skills Camp for kids entering grades 4 – 6. Third is the "Big Field" Transition Camp for kids entering grades 7 - 9.

Each of the camps will be run by Mike Scott, who is the Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Darien High School and John Miceli, who is the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at DHS. Mike and John will be assisted by other DHS and Pro coaches as well as by DHS Varsity players.

	2009 BEN BRUNO GAME - DHS ALUMNI GAME

ANNUAL ALUMNI BASEBALL GAME SET FOR JULY 25TH

The eighth annual Ben Bruno Memorial baseball game, which is organized by Darien Babe Ruth League, will take place on Saturday, July 25th at 2 pm at Darien High School turf field. The game is played in memory of the late Ben Bruno and features former varsity high school and college players. Bruno, who graduated from Darien High School in 1999, was an outstanding baseball player and person. He died in 2001.

	Summer Baseball Starts Saturday!

Summer Baseball is scheduled to start next Saturday June 27. But registration is a little light and we may not be able to have our shirts ready and/or be ready to start if we don't have true registration numbers.

If you're interested in having your child play baseball in the Summer program, it would be greatly appreciated if you could register today or as soon as possible. For More details on the program, please check the website homepage announcement.
